Fondo Italiano di Investimento to Open Doors to Start Ups

According to Il Sole 24 Ore (read here), Fondo Italiano di Investimento is ready to open its doors to start ups.

Changes in the regulation, which are expected to take place on Friday, will allow Fondo italiano to invest up to €50m to help Italian young companies grow.

To date, the megafund has focused on making private equity investments in growth companies and acting as a fund-of-funds making indirect investments in local funds.
