Searchlight Capital Partners is acquiring a controlling stake in Hunter Boot Ltd., the UK owner of the Hunter brand.
Following the close of the transaction, whose amount remained undisclosed, the existing shareholders will retain a stake in the company.
Led by Chairman Peter Mullen, Hunter Boot Limited makes and supplies the Hunter boots.
The investment is intended to support the company in increasing its presence in existing markets and expand in new regions around the world.
Hunter’s products are currently sold in over 30 countries around the world.
