PowerOasis, a Swindon, UK-based provider of power management and energy efficiency solutions for wireless operators, has raised £4.5m in growth funding from YFM Equity Partners.
YFM joined existing investors MTI Partners, OCP Angels, Oxford Capital Partners, and other private investors.
The company intends to use the capital for accelerating sales and product development.
Co-founded in 2008 by CTO Pete Bishop, and led by CEO John O’Donohue, PowerOasis has developed a wireless network power management platform that remotely monitors, controls and manages the supply of power to base stations sites that lack a reliable electricity grid in the Middle East and Africa.
