International Planning Group, Ltd, a Wellesley, Massachusetts-based global life insurance sales, marketing, distribution and consulting company, has received an investment from Scout Partners, LLC and KBW Capital Partners.
The company intgends to use the proceeds to continue to expand global operations, strengthening its positions in Asia and Latin America while increasing its presence in other parts of the world, including Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The investment will also allow the expansion of the senior management team.
Founded in 1992 by majority shareholder Jon Baker Sr, International Planning Group is an insurance sales, marketing, distribution and consulting company offering life insurance based solutions to wealthy families worldwide. It also serves multinational corporations to fund supplemental executive benefit solutions for third country national and foreign national executives residing throughout the world.
IPG has offices in Miami; Bermuda; Ireland; Hong Kong; Singapore; and Switzerland. its client base includes over 2,400 insureds with approximately $12 billion of life insurance coverage.
