Conjunct Limited, a Livingston, UK-based designer and supplier of Optical Sub Assemblies (OSAs) for a wide range of Datacomms applications, has raised £340k in its third round of funding.
The round was led by existing investor Braveheart Investment Group (AIM: BRH), with participation from Scottish Investment Bank’s Scottish Co-investment Fund.
The company intends to use the funding to support its production engineering activities for Fibre-Lyte manufacture and to complete development of a new Fibre-Lyte variant.
Led by CEO Ken Allstaff, Conjunct has developed a highly innovative transceiver module, Fibre-Lyte, a small integrated transceiver package which can be applied to both datacoms and telecoms markets and has the potential to support data rates up to 300Gbps.
