First Choice Emergency Room, a Flower Mound, TX-based provider of freestanding emergency rooms with 12 Texas locations, is receiving a “significant” private equity investment from Sterling Partners.
According to a written statement, the investment is designed to accelerate the company’s next stage of growth.
Founded in North Texas in 2002 and led by CEO Rick Covert, First Choice Emergency Room delivers emergency medical services for adult and pediatric emergencies, both major and minor. Its physicians are board certified, emergency physicians, and all FCER nurses are emergency trained. It has seven locations in the Houston area, four in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and one in the Austin area.
