Zoomingo, Inc., a Seattle-based startup that operates a mobile shopping discovery app, has secured $1.3m in funding.

Backers include two early-stage venture capital firms Naya Ventures and Benaroya Capital, as well as other angel investors.

The company intends to use the funding to enhance the current application, build a retailer platform, and grow its community through expanded outreach to new customers and retail partners.

Co-founded by Shirish Nadkarni and Krishnan Seshadrinathan, Zoomingo provides consumers with access to sale items on fashion, beauty, and home goods from more than 70,000 local retail outlets and boutiques in local markets nationwide.
