Intent Media, a New York City-based company that offers a solution designed to help retailers, advertisers, and anyone who shops online monetize their site traffic, has raised $20m in a second round of funding.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its business, including hiring staff for its headquarters (http://www.intentmedia.com/jobs).
Led by CEO Richard Harris, Intent Media provides commerce sites with an end-to-end solution to maximize the profitability of their site traffic. Leveraging its expertise in data science and intent targeting, the company helps retailers extract both the transaction and advertising value of their visitors.
In conjunction with the funding, Chris Moore, Partner at Redpoint Ventures, joins Nick Beim, General Partner at Matrix Partners, on Intent Media’s board of directors.
