Venture capital firm Index Ventures has raised a €500m ($700m) fund.
The new investment vehicle, which is based in Index’ London and San Francisco offices, will operate as a growth fund operating globally. It will focus on making equity investments in the range of €10M and €50M in fast-growing companies with international ambitions, providing additional capital, as well as access to Index’s international platform to enable growth.
Investment themes will include Marketplaces, Payments, Cloud, Mobile, Fashion.
Index recently backed Dropbox and iZettle.
