2nd Watch, Inc. a Liberty Lake, Washington-based solution provider and systems integrator for Amazon Web Services™ (AWS), said it closed a Series A round of financing.
The amount of the funding was not disclosed.
Investors include Bighorn Ventures, KickStart – an angel fund associated with the Spokane Angel Alliance and other angel investors.
Local Disaster Recovery firm IT Lifeline also participated in the round.
The company plans to use the funds for further product development and to roll out its existing set of products and services to the small and midsize business market.
Led by founder and CEO Kris Bliesner, 2nd Watch offers products designed to allow businesses to leverage low cost enterprise Cloud providers like Amazon, Microsoft, Rackspace and Google to run critical business and marketing systems, instead buy expensive hardware to run their business.
The company has customers in the Manufacturing, Healthcare, Technology, Travel, Insurance and Real Estate industries.
In conjunction with the funding, Matt Gerber, CEO at IT Lifeline, will join the company’s Board of Directors.
