SCL Elements, a Montreal, Qc, Canada-based developer of building automation solutions, has secured $2.15m in Series A financing.
The round was led by Westly Group, with participation from Navitas Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to scale production and business development in the market of light commercial and mid-market buildings.
Led by CEO Simon Leblond, SCL Elements provides facility managers, contractors and OEM manufacturers with CAN2GO™ integrated wired and wireless solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting & metering applications, which are installed in retail/stores, offices, schools, universities, factories, warehouses, heritage buildings, laboratories and government buildings in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East.
In conjunction with the funding, Gary Dillabough, of The Westly Group, will join SCL Elements’ board.
