Sbragia Family Vineyards Receives Equity Investment from Bacchus Capital Management

Sbragia Family Vineyards has received an equity investment of undisclosed amount from Bacchus Capital Management, LLC, a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on the wine industry.

The company intends to use the funds to continue growing the brand and the business. As stated by Founder, President and Winemaster Ed Sbragia, working together with Bacchus, Sbragia Family Vineyards will be able to develop its wine portfolio. “Bacchus will enable us to build our inventory and infrastructure as well as assist our distribution partner, Treasury Wine Estates, in expanding the reach of the brand“, he said.

Founded in 2001, the company is located in the Dry Creek Valley. Its wines are all single vineyard and are made from Dry Creek, Napa and Sonoma County fruit. Five of the wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and two Zinfandels, are sourced from estate vineyards that range in size from five to thirteen acres and are owned by the Sbragia Family.
