Anderson Aerospace Raises $250K in Funding from JumpStart

Anderson Aerospace, a Kent, Ohio-based company that designs and manufactures advanced technology satellite antenna systems for aircraft, has raised $250k in funding from JumpStart.

The company intends to use the capital, which also includes recently awarded grants and angel investment, to complete its “flight-ready” prototype.

Founded by President Richard Anderson and Sr. Vice President Matthew Flannery, Anderson Aerospace manufactures compact, high efficiency system designed to enable in-flight, in-cabin live television viewing and internet connectivity in aircrafts too small to carry presently available systems.

The company’s founders and technical staff are veterans of the avionics industry and have more than 100 years of combined technical expertise in rf and antenna theory, electrical engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, business management, and quality management systems.
