Valen Technologies, a Denver, CO-based provider of Cloud Turnkey Predictive Analytic solutions to the Property and Casualty Insurance market, has closed a $7.5m equity funding.
The round was led by QED Investors and existing investor Core Capital Partners, with participation from other existing shareholders.
The company intends to use the funds for data consortium expansion, predictive analytics platform enhancements, channel development, sales and marketing.
Led by President and CEO Dax Craig, Valen Technologies provides cloud based predictive analytics solutions. Its experts build, deploy and monitor models for improving risk selection, pricing, underwriting and optimizing premium audit processes.
