TripLingo, an Atlanta, GA-based language translation firm, recently received an investment from Atlanta Technology Angels’ board director Richard Spencer.
Launched in May 2011 and led by CEO Jesse Maddox, the firm created a mobile app that provides customized relevant phrases and content to help business and leisure travelers learn local language and culture during their trips.
It is currently available in Spanish, Italian, French, German and Portuguese, with Hindi, Mandarin, Ebrew, Japanese and Thai coming soon.
Founded in 1998, the Atlanta Technology Angels (ATA) is an investment group that invests in early stage technology companies based in Georgia.
