Tamtron Receives Private Equity Investment from Intera Partners 

Tamtron, a Tampere, Finland-based weighing systems provider, has received an equity investment from Intera Partners.

With the transaction, Intera has become the majority owner of the company. The Group CEO and previous main owner Pentti Asikainen will continue in his current role and mantain a considerable ownership share in Tamtron.

The investment aims to help company grow organically and through acquisitions.

Founded in 1972, Tamtron provides digital weighing equipment and related information systems for industrial and logistics applications. The company has sales in over 50 countries and a strong market position, through its subsidiaries, especially in the Nordic countries, Central Europe and China.
Tamtron has approximately 200 employees.
