Revolution Analytics Receives Follow-on Investment from Intel Capital

Revolution Analytics, a Palo Alto, CA-based statistical computing and predictive analytics company, recently received a follow-on investment of undisclosed amount from Intel Capital.

Founded in 2007 and led by CEO Norman H. Nie, the company provides commercial software and services that support users of the open source R programming language for statistical computing.
Its flagship Revolution R Enterprise product is designed to bring high performance, productivity and enterprise readiness to R, meeting the production needs of large organizations in industries such as finance, life sciences, retail, manufacturing and media. Customers include companies such as Pfizer, Novartis, Yale Cancer Center, Bank of America, Motorola, Hess, Marketo, etc..
As the popularity of R grows for statistical computing and predictive analytics, Revolution Analytics aims to offer a powerful, full-featured product for every type of user and every budget.
