Pelagicore Raises 20MSEK from Fouriertransform

Pelagicore AB, Gothenburg, Sweden-based technology and product development company with focus on Open Source software applications in the automotive infotainment industry, has raised 20MSEK from Fouriertransform.

With the transaction Fouriertransform becomes the largest minority owner in the company.

Pelagicore intends to use the funds to continue expansion in the automotive industry and strengthen its market position.

Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Anders Björkenbo, the company develops and licenses Open Source based software platforms which reduces the costs and timeframe of In-vehicle infotainment development.
Pelagicore’s customer base consists mainly of car manufacturers and their suppliers.
Through its competence in Open Source, such as GNU/Linux, Pelagicore established itself as supplier in the BMW-initiated consortium GENIVI, among the others.
