mDialog Closes $5M Series A Funding

mDialog, a Toronto, ON-based Video as a Service (VaaS) solution that allows customers to manage and stream high-res video, with in-stream advertising, to mobile devices, has closed a $5m Series A funding.

The round was led by the BlackBerry Partners Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its offerings across all mobile and connected devices such as the iPad and iPhone, as well as Android, Roku and other OTT platforms.

Led by President and Founder Greg Philpott, mDialog provides a real-time, Video as a Service (VaaS) solution that enables broadcasters, cable operators and video publishers to dynamically insert, track and analyze their targeted video advertising campaigns into Linear/Live and on-demand TV programming everywhere.
