iZettle, a Stockholm, Sweden-based mobile card reader to take payments, raised €10m (approximately more than $14m), according to multiple sources.
The funding was provided by Index Ventures.
Launched in June, the company provides a chip-card reader and an iPhone app that enable consumers and small businesses to take card payments.
iZettle is approved by Europay, MasterCard and VISA (EMV).
According to the corporate website, the solution will soon be available outside of Sweden.
