New York-based New Health Capital Partners (NHCP) has closed a private equity vehicle focused on investing in life sciences companies.
ORIX USA Asset Management , a global asset management firm wholly owned by ORIX USA Corporation, committed $150m.
New Health Capital Partners Fund I LP focuses on investing throughout the capital structure of a broad spectrum of commercial-stage specialty pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostics and technology tools companies, including senior secured loans, royalty monetizations, control equity investments and other structured financings.
Founded by Richard Baxter and Aron Dantzig, NHCP has completed one transaction since its launch.
