ActivePath Raises $10M in Funding

ActivePath, a New York-based developer of interactive email and messaging solutions, has raised $10m in funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures and Gimv NV, with participation from existing investors including Genesis Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand sales and marketing efforts in the Americas and Europe.

In conjunction with the funding, Scott Tobin, General Partner at Battery Ventures, and Steven Coppens, partner at Gimv’s Venture Capital team, will join ActivePath’s Board of Directors.

Founded in 2007 and led by CEO, Renan Levy, ActivePath has developed a patent-pending technology delivering a push email channel that enables banks, card issuers and ecommerce companies to provide real-time, interactive and personalized offers via desktop, laptop, mobile and i-devices driving interaction and transactions.
