YourNextLeap.com a Pune, India-based start up that operates a web-based recommendation engine designed to act as a virtual career counselor for students, has raised an undisclosed sum of Series A financing from Nirvana Venture Advisors.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its team (http://yournextleap.com/jobs).
Launched in October 2010 by COO Suruchi Wagh, who was joined by co-founder and CEO Mohit Gundecha, YourNextLeap.com provides a suite of online tools, which use psychometric evaluations and math models on past admission patterns, to give out personalized suggestions.
Amit Patni, from the Patni Family and Rajan Mehra, Managing Director of Nirvana Venture Advisors, have joined the company’s Board of Directors. Nickhil Jakatdar, CEO of VuClip and Alok Kejriwal, CEO of Games2Win are on YourNextLeap.com’s Advisory board.
Nirvana Venture Advisors is a Mumbai-based early stage venture capital fund anchored by the Patni Family.
