Segmint Inc., a Tallmadge, Ohio-based developer of software that creates targeted advertising segments by gathering and analyzing anonymously customer purchasing behavior, has received funding.
Investors include JumpStart, which committed $250k, and other Northeast Ohio angel investors.
The company, which initially received seed funding from the Innovation Fund, intends to use the funds to advance its business development efforts related to its expanding product offering.
Led by CEO Rob Heiser, Segmint is developing software that enables anonymous spend analysis from a wide variety of data sources. The solutions, which analyzes actual purchase transactions, is designed to offer financial Institutions and their marketing partners specifically targeted and relevant consumer profile groups.
