Get Satisfaction Raises $10M Series B Funding Round

Get Satisfaction, a San francisco, CA-based online community platform designed to support companies in improving relationships with their customers, has raised a $10m Series B round of funding.

The round, which brings the total amount rasied by the company to date to approximately $21m, was led by InterWest Partners.

Get Satisfaction plans to use the funds for product innovation, distribution partnerships and global expansion.

In conjunction with the funding, Bruce Cleveland, general partner at InterWest, will join Get Satisfaction’s Board of Directors.

Led by CEO Wendy Lea, Get Satisfaction is designed to enable brands to turn customers into active participants in their core business functions, from product development, marketing, PR and customer service. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies including Proctor & Gamble, Adobe and Walmart and startups such as Flipboard, Spotify and Mint.com.
