Quixey Raises $3.8M in Series A Funding

Quixey, a Palo Alto, CA-based search engine for apps, has raised $3.8m in Series A funding.

The round was co-led by U.S. Venture Partners and WI Harper Group, with participation from Webb Investment Network and existing investor Innovation Endeavors.

The company intends to use the funds for partnership development.

Led by Co-Founder and CEO Tomer Kagan, Quixey is a functional search engine for apps, which is designed to allow users to find apps by describing what they want to do, searching them across all platforms, including mobile, web, desktop and browser apps.
