Kimbia, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of fundraising and event management software, has raised more than $4m in a Series 2 round of funding.
The round was led by S3 Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand industry adoption of its software.
Ledf by CEO Daniel Gillett, Kimbia offers a web-based platform designed to power online fundraisers, event organizers and social advocates. It is used by more than 1,100 customers, including non-profit organizations, political candidates and event organizers.
