GoAct, a San Francisco, CA, and Helsinki, Finland-based mobile start up that has launched a social calendar app, has raised $500K in seed funding.
Investors include Esther Dyson, seven Finnish business angels, and the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES).
Led by CEO Petri Sakkinen, GoAct has just introduced Plango, a social calendar app for mobile group scheduling. It features real-time SMS/push messaging, a native iOS app, and web application.
