FiberZone Networks Closes $12M in Funding

FiberZone Networks, a Bethesda, Maryland-based provider of automated fiber management products for datacenters, has closed a $12m in funding.

The round was led by S-Group Capital Management, with participation from existing investor Novak Biddle Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds for sales and business development expansion in developed countries and emerging markets.

Led by FiberZone’s CEO Yosi Lahad and Chairman of the Board Dr. Hemant Kanakia, FiberZone Networks provides an Automatic Fiber Management (AFM) product line for datacenter and network operators in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. The AFM product line is designed to increase network reliability and availability, reducing operating costs, and minimizing network faults and human errors.

In conjunction with the funding, Vladimir Yakushev and Aidar Gabidoullin from S-Group Capital Management, have joined the company’s board.
