EnergyHub Closes $14.5M Series B Round of Funding

EnergyHub Inc., a New York-based provider of home energy management software and systems, closed its $14.5m Series B round of funding.

Backers include new investors Acadia Woods and the New York City Investment Fund and existing shareholders .406 Ventures and Physic Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to support commercial deployments of its home energy management system and launch its new Mercury™ wireless thermostat software service.

Led by CEO Seth Frader-Thompson, EnergyHub develops and markets home energy management solutions designed to enable homeowners, utilities, and service providers to access, control, and automate in-home energy consumption.
The EnergyHub system allows consumers to understand and control their in-home energy use, while enabling energy providers to quickly implement demand response programs and influence customer energy behavior. The EnergyHub Mercury™ smart thermostat platform uses advanced analytics and the engaging EnergyHub user interface to optimize thermostats and increase energy efficiency.
