Decibel Music Systems Ltd., a London, UK-based technology company that leverages artificial intelligence systems to create music metadata platforms for companies in the media industries, has raised an undisclosed sum of funding.
According to a written statement, backers include investors with financial and media industry backgrounds.
The company intends to use the funds for the further development of its applications and expand internationally in the USA, Korea and Japan.
Led by CEO Gregory Kris and Founder and President Evan Stein, Decibel provides client services, metadata APIs and music discovery applications to music and media, hardware and streaming companies.
Its AI technology allows new and existing digital music services to gather, normalize and enhance data on music, participants, performances, rights holders, publishers, venues, dates, social links, product information (watch how it works here).
