ChoozOn Closes $3.2M Series A Funding Round

ChoozOn, a Bellewue, WA and King of Prussia, PA-based service that allows consumers to create customized personal deal networks, closed a $3.2m Series A round of funding.

The round was led by Michael Orsak of Worldview Technology Partners and James Brown of AVG Ventures, who will both join the company’s board.

ChoozOn intends to use the funds to to ramp up the development of its service, which launches later this quarter.

Founded by digital marketing and data experts CEO Nick Weir, Usama Fayyad, and Hunter Madsen, the company has developed a service that allows consumers to discover and share relevant deals and connecting with their favorite brands.
They can create customized personal deal networks™ comprising favorite stores, brands, product categories, loyalty programs, deal clubs, and daily deal services.

In the first three months, over 1,000 brands have signed on ChoozOn to be includes in their personal deal networks.
