Capital Exchange (CapXG), a Valencia, California-based interactive, web-based, networking site serving the financial community, has received a majority investment of undisclosed amount from private equity firm Revolution Capital Group.
Following the investment, CapXG operations will be led by Chongyang Luo, CTO and Operations Director for the Capital Exchange and Director of Technology for Revolution Capital Group.
Founded in 2010, CapXG has established an online database of financial sponsors, professionals, lenders and deals, and is currently used by Investment Banks, Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, M&A professionals and lending institutions. It allows users to update, post and share their information at no cost.
According to the company, the database includes 1,400 private equity firms, 20,000 acquisitions & portfolio companies, 13,000 industry professionals 2,300 Lenders. The company also plans to add a dynamic job board and a deal room shortly.
