Airy Labs Raises $1.5M in Seed Financing

Airy Labs, Inc., a Palo Alto, CA-based developer of social learning games for children, has raised $1.5m in seed financing.

The round was led by Foundation Capital, with participation from Google Ventures, Rick Thompson (Playdom co-founder and former chairman), and other angel investors and micro-cap venture capital firms.

Founded in 2011 by Andrew Hsu (, Airy Labs aims to create social games aimed toward teaching kids a wide variety of skills, both academic and non-academic. They will be available on mobile and tablets, and on the web.
