Zettaset, formerly known as GOTO Metrics, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of data analytics solutions for the enterprise via Hadoop, has closed a $3m funding round.
Investors include Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and Epic Ventures.
In conjunction with the funding, Andreas Stavropoulos, managing director of DFJ, and Nick Efstratis, managing director of EPIC Ventures, have joined the company’s board of directors.
Led by CEO Brian Christian, the company provides Hadoop-based data management solutions for the enterprise and small-to-medium businesses. The patent-pending Zettaset software solution is fully automated to enable users of all sizes to aggregate, organize and analyze data sets on an massive scale – including petabyte-level analysis.
