SpineVision Raises $5M in Funding

SpineVision, a Paris, France-based medical device company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative products for use in spinal surgery, has raised $5m in funding.

Investors include Partner Capital, Sofinnova, BroadPeak, HealthCap, Innoven, Edbi, and the company’s management.

SpineVision intends to use the funds to accelerate market penetration of its devices for spinal treatment including the minimally invasive system LUMIS™ and the motion-preservation hybrid-rod system Flex+™.

Led by Chairman and CEO Gérard Hascoët and COO Arnaud Brisard, the company develops and markets a proprietary suite of implants addressing a wide range of spinal pathologies including deformity, cervical disorders, lumbar DDD and trauma. It has subsidiaries in the USA, Italy, UK and Belgium.
