PriceAdvice Raises $300K in Funding

-

iTaggit, the Austin, Texas-based parent company of PriceAdvice, a service that helps consumers determine the price of used products for sale on sites including eBay, Amazon and Craigslist, has raised $300k in funding.

The round was led by G-51 Capital.

The company intends to use the funding to further expand its sales and marketing team, invest in marketing and business development initiatives and support its working capital needs.

Launched in 2006, PriceAdvice is designed to educate consumers to make informed online or offline purchase decisions about used products by providing timely pricing information.

The company has also added two members to its team: Ira Williams has been named President and COO; Hong Bui has been named the lead technology advisor and has joined iTaggit’s  Board of Directors.
