Operator Systems Backed by Danish Vækstfonden and Inter-Invest

Operator Systems, a Herlev, Denmark-based company that develops and implements a standard Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application, has received an equity investment of undisclosed amount.

Investors include Vækstfonden and Inter-Invest.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its International partner network mainly in Sweden and Poland, as well as strenghten its HQ organization.

Founded in 2004, Operator Systems serves 100 customers in Scandinavia and Europe. Its Operator is a MES designed to streamline production processes from raw materials to the final product. It is designed to generate on-line work lists for employees and machines, relay information on delays, and shorten response time to rush orders and breakdowns. Operator is implemented with several ERP systems including SAP, Movex, BPCS, MBS, Navision etc.

The company has global partner agreements with companies in both the ERP area and the Industrial Automation area, such as Lawson, ÅF Engineering, Optilon, Zolvia, and Estrix.
