BrightWhistle Inc., an Atlanta, Ga.-based provider of an online customer and patient acquisition management platform, has raised $1.1m in seed funding.
The round was led by Hamilton Ventures, with participation from Eastside Partners and other angel investors including Paul Iaffaldano.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to grow in the health services sector, expand into multi-location businesses and marketing agencies. BrightWhistle also plans to hire engineers (http://careers.brightwhistle.com/) to enhance its platform, which is used to generate and manage hyper-localized sites powered by content designed to educate and inform prospective consumers, and run targeted search and social media ad campaigns designed to attract, qualify and convert new patients and customers.

In conjunction with the funding, Jamie Hamilton, managing partner, Hamilton Ventures, and Emerson Fann, managing partner, Eastside Partners, will join the company’s board of directors along with Paul Iaffaldano.
