Autology World Limited, a Chester, UK-based provider of an online learning tool for schools and home-based study, recently raised £660k in funding.
Backers include the North West Fund 4 Digital & Creative, managed by AXM Venture Capital, which has invested £375,000 for a substantial equity stake, and a syndicate of private investors, which committed £285,000.
Founded in 2007 and led by Chairman Julian Harley, Autology allows students to access paid-for content from educational publishers such as Pearson, Letts Lonsdale and World Book.
The company’s tools are currently being implemented in schools throughout the West Midlands, Lancashire and Cardiff.
