Vivecoach, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based developer of a corporate wellness challenge application, has closed a $1.5m in new funding.
The round was led by individual investors Konstantin Othmer and Bruce Leak, with participation from Seraph Group, Aquinas Companies and TIBCO Software co-founder Jeff Risberg.
The company intends to use use the capital to expand its marketing and sales initiatives.
Lunched in 2010 and led by co-founder and CEO Doug Keare, Vivecoach offers web- and mobile-based challenge platform that are designed to help corporations link wellness to strategic objectives and initiatives and engage employees in health behavior change. It is currently being used by employees in over 20 countries.
