VideoGenie Closes $2M Series A Financing

VideoGenie, a San Francisco, CA-based consumer-generated video company, has completed a $2m Series A financing.

The round was led by Blumberg Capital, with participation from Innovation Endeavors.

The company plans to use the funds to further develop its solutions, conduct strategic business initiatives, expand its team.

Launched in May 2010, and led by CEO Justin Nassiri, VideoGenie allows brands to gather, manage, publish and analyze videos recorded by their fans, incorporating the authentic video content they collect into marketing and customer engagement initiatives including
website testimonials, Facebook engagement campaigns, product reviews and ad campaigns.

Clients include Levi’s(R), The Tony Awards, and ShoeDazzle.

The company is also backed by angel investor Daniel Zumino.
