Triad Semiconductor Inc., a Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based supplier of via-configurable mixed-signal ASICs, has secured $6m in equity financing from Development 72, LLC.
The company intends to use the funding for working capital and software and hardware development as several new projects enter the production phase. Triad has begun creating software tools aimed to enable customers to develop their designs on its mixed-signal platforms with minimal support.
Development 72 is a private equity holding company focused on acquiring high potential companies in the Healthcare, Information Technology, and Fast-Moving Consumer Staples industries.
