PunchTab, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based platform that allows business and website owners to easily create a loyalty program, has raised $850,000 in seed funding.
Investors include Mohr Davidow Ventures, Embarcadero Ventures, and angels Venky Harinarayan, Anand Rajaraman, and Nick Sturiale.
Founded in January 2011 by Ranjith Kumaran and Mehdi AitOufkir, PunchTab allows publishers, retailers and application vendors to immediately reward users for social sharing and ongoing engagement with exclusive offers, gift cards, etc., from leading brands.
The company intends to use the new funds to further develop its instant loyalty platform and continue to integrate with brands, websites and mobile applications.
