Aylus Networks, a provider of infrastructure software for enabling video communication services over mobile networks, closed a $16m equity financing.
The round was led by m8 Capital, with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.
In conjunction with the funding, Joseph Kim, General Partner of m8 Capital, will join Aylus’ Board of Directors.
Led by CEO Mark Edwards, the company provides mobile operators and service providers with software-based core infrastructure technology designed to enable rich mobile communications integrating video in voice calls.
