Apica Raises SEK15M in Funding

Apica, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company that provides solutions to test, analyze, monitor and improve web performance, has raised SEK15m in funding.

Investors include Industrifonden, which committed SEK10m, KTH Chalmers Capital and Almi Invest.

The company intends to use the funds to launch its services in the U.S. Apica already has sales offices in the UK and the U.S.

Founded in 2005 and led by CEO Sven Hammar, Apica provides a Software as a Service Web Performance Management system that is designed to allow large, complex, business-critical web sites to test, monitor and improve their performance.
Customers include companies with large, web-based systems, such as SJ (Swedish Railways), the newspaper Expressen, the Swedish Agency for Higher Education Services (VHS) and the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration.
