SQLstream Receives Investment from Fontinalis Partners

SQLstream Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based stream computing company, has received a strategic investment of undisclosed amount from Fontinalis Partners, LLC, a transportation technology strategic investment firm.

Led by CEO Damian Black, SQLstream uses the industry standard SQL language to execute queries before data reaches the warehouse, enabling businesses to make smarter decisions sooner, adding real-time, operational intelligence to existing systems while reducing total cost and complexity. Stream Computing has applications in several industries including transportation, financial services, government, media and advertising, social networks, telecommunications, energy and utilities.

Led by CEO Damian Black, SQLstream was founded in 2002 and launched its first product to market in 2008.

According to a written statement, Fontinalis Partners recognized SQLstream’s potential following the company’s success in assisting various transportation agencies around the world.
