Scint-X AB, a Stockholm, Sweden-based developer of a novel x-ray scintillator device, has secured SEK10m in growth capital from Conor Venture Partners and STING Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to build a stronger organization to secure the internalization of its scintillator business, and to build up high-volume manufacturing capacity in Kista, Sweden.
Based on its patented structured scintillator technique developed at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Scint-X develops and markets a technology for enhancing the performance of x-ray digital imaging detectors, enabling its customers to build x-ray systems with high image quality and high resolution.
The company is led by CEO Mikael Andersson.
