The round was led by Four Rivers Group, with participation from new investor Woodside Fund and current shareholders Menlo Ventures and Tenaya Capital.
These additional resources, which bring the total amount raised to date to $37m, will be used to expand PowerReviews’ product development and sales efforts.
Led by CEO Pehr Luedtke, the company provides retailers and brands with solutions designed to collect, organize and analyze user-generated content to increase product sales and customer engagement.
According to a written statement, PowerReviews is live on over 5,000 websites – across 13 languages in 21 countries – including Staples, Drugstore.com, Room & Board, ESPN, Neutrogena, Quicksilver, and Jockey.
The company has a European office in London.
