Pongo Resume, a Northborough, Massachusetts-based full-service career web site that provides tools and support for job seekers, has received a $2m loan from Avidia Bank.
The loan, which was secured through sponsorship by the Small Business Administration (SBA), will help the company accelerate product development and increase its team. Pongo currently employs 34 team members and seeks to hire eleven more within the next six months.
Led by President & CEO Rodney Capron, Jr., Pongo Resume provides tools to write professional resumes and cover letters to face interviews, salary negotiation, etc. According to a written statement, the company’s web site currently has more than 4 million registered users and averages over a half-million unique visitors per month.
